Every child should have a spot where they can go and express themselves. The one in the picture is my daughters, and she likes to sit in the chair, color her pictures, and look at herself in the mirror.
When you lift up the top, you will see some storage compartments. Your kids will probably enjoy hiding little things in there like mine do.
She also likes to put her dolls in the chair and pretend like they are working too. Either way, I am very happy with the desk. It will last you for years and give your child opportunity to be creative.
